Thelma de Gutierrez has been surrounded by coffee her entire life. A third-generation coffee farmer, Thelma purchase Finca Madre Tierra in 2006 and has been tirelessly focused on improving coffee quality on her farm, no matter the challenges. Through thick and thin, Thelma says, “my love and passion for coffee is what keeps us going.”

Don’t be fooled by El Salvador’s small size. It was once the 4th largest coffee producer worldwide and continues to produce high quality lots. The country is known for its great cupping varieties, such as Bourbon and Pacamara.
